AB	Ga terug, mijn dochters! Ga heen, want ik ben te oud om [nog] een man te hebben. Zelfs als ik al zei: Ik heb hoop, of dat ik ook deze nacht een man had, ja zelfs zonen baarde.
SV	Keert weder, mijn dochters! Gaat heen; want ik ben te oud om een man te hebben. Wanneer ik al zeide: Ik heb hoop, of ik ook in dezen nacht een man had, ja, ook zonen baarde;
WLC	שֹׁ֤בְנָה בְנֹתַי֙ לֵ֔כְןָ כִּ֥י זָקַ֖נְתִּי מִהְיֹ֣ות לְאִ֑ישׁ כִּ֤י אָמַ֙רְתִּי֙ יֶשׁ־לִ֣י תִקְוָ֔ה גַּ֣ם הָיִ֤יתִי הַלַּ֙יְלָה֙ לְאִ֔ישׁ וְגַ֖ם יָלַ֥דְתִּי בָנִֽים׃
Trans.	šōḇənâ ḇənōṯay lēḵənā kî zāqanətî mihəywōṯ lə’îš kî ’āmarətî yeš-lî ṯiqəwâ gam hāyîṯî hallayəlâ lə’îš wəḡam yālaḏətî ḇānîm:

AC	יב שבנה בנתי לכן כי זקנתי מהיות לאיש כי אמרתי יש לי תקוה--גם הייתי הלילה לאיש וגם ילדתי בנים
ASV	Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have a husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should even have a husband to-night, and should also bear sons;
BE	Go back, my daughters, and go on your way; I am so old now that I may not have another husband. If I said, I have hopes, if I had a husband tonight, and might have sons,

ELB05	Kehret um, meine Töchter, gehet; denn ich bin zu alt, um eines Mannes zu werden. Wenn ich spräche: Ich habe Hoffnung; wenn ich selbst diese Nacht eines Mannes würde und sogar Söhne gebären sollte:
